The Meritage Medical Network management team was part of the “Top Chef” competition at Ram’s Gate Winery last month!
Both teams were given fresh ingredients and gnocchi dough – they were to create a dish that would be graded on presentation, execution, taste, and, of course, wine pairing.
Team Green made a pink sauce with tomatoes and goat cheese paired with spicy garlic spinach.
Team Yellow made a cream sauce with plenty of garlic and onions.
The score was close, but the wine pairing (a Pinot Noir) pushed Team Green into the lead! The whole Meritage team enjoyed lunch and appreciated the opportunity for some fun (and delicious) team building that day.
